BUSH COMPLETES INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Jeannie M. Bush, RDH, RE, CPE, LI, has completed the Electrology Instructor Training at The Salon Professional Academy (TSPA) and has passed the Wisconsin State Licensing Exam.

"It has been a goal for a number of years to get my Instructor's Training and become a Wisconsin Electrology Licensed Instructor (LI)," Bush states. "People ask me why-and I tell them for many reasons! One is credibility. As the Director of the Council on Education for the American Electrology Association (AEA), I felt it is a necessity to work toward my Instructor's License in order to better serve the members of the AEA. In addition, as past Chair of the Barbering and Cosmetology (BAC) Board, Continuing Education requirements were passed for all of the licensees under the BAC Board: Barbers, Cosmetologists, Nail Technicians, Aestheticians, and Electrolgists. In the future, I would like to provide Continuing Education for my colleagues, especially concerning infection prevention and advanced techniques in electrology."

Bush wishes to thank all of the Licensed Instructors at TSPA for their time and talents; a special thank you to Penny Nelson, Director of Education, and Sue Kolve-Feehan, owner, for going above and beyond to give her an amazing learning environment and experience.
